So far Shopaholic and Baby is the funniest novel in Kinsella's series. I was constantly laughing hysterically, whereas in her previous novels it was only every once in a while. I also feel as if this book has the most concrete and worthwhile plot than the others. I admit within the first fifty pages or so I was still a bit annoyed with Becky's shopping antics after just having read Shopaholic and Sister, but by the end I found myself genuinely liking her more than I ever have. This is the first four star review I've given for the Shopaholic series, and I'm about to start Kinsella's latest, Mini Shopaholic - hopefully it's just as good, if not better, than this.
some of my favorite short stories. my favorite "southern" writer of the last century; dark, groteque, some would say "gothic" style.
Got it in the mail from amazon. I guess 'like new' means a dented cover and yellowed paper, but what do you want for five bucks.
