I had a professor in college that told me that life is too short to read bad books. I wish I had listened to her.

This is a Bookclub selection for April. We'll read it and then actually get to meet the author! *update* I finished this book a few days after meeting the author. During our meeting, she discussed her inspiration for the story, and general writing concepts such as naming characters and picking locations. I finished the book during my lunch hour and was pretty pleased with the book. I think having met the author influenced my opinion of the book for sure, but I did appreciate the style in which it was written, and the lessons it taught. I may consider reading other books of hers, but for now my plate is full!
