Now that I look back on the books I read when I was little, this book was big. I don't remember complaining about having to read it, it was a summer reading assignment. However, whether I complained about reading it that summer or not, I do remember the images I had in my head. When I saw the movie this past christmas for the first time, I remembered everything like I had just seen it.

Tragically beautiful writing. Hosseini is quickly becoming my favorite author.
