Well done fairy tale retelling. The hero can knit!

Every time I read this book I get something else out of it. Much more complicated and requireing a lot more thought and attention than I expected, I found myself getting completely caught up in this wonderful Star Wars style story. I really hope there's more for Susan and Lobsang.

My first Dean Koontz book I ever picked up... One of the Best!!

Very unrealistic but an easy read. I want to know how people can move to a COMPLETELY new place, fall in love and get married in two weeks. Not that I wouldn't recommend reading it, just know it's a bit on the sappy side.

This book will easily be the most disturbing thing you've ever read, not because the subject matter is that shocking (although child murder's pretty grim), but because of the way it pulls you in and you find yourself thinking like the protagonists who, by the way, are both child molesters. Not for the faint of heart, certainly, but an absolutely amazing novel.
