Bu, önceki iki kadar iyi değil ve biraz daha kısa. Ancak yine de harika bir kitap ve diğer kitaplarla zor anlar yaşayanlar için takip etmesi biraz daha kolay.

Bence bu kitap, kurgu türlerinde olduğu gibi gerçekten iyi, ama bu grafik romanda. İnsanlara bu hikayeyi okumalarını öneririm, eğer Geronimo Stilton kitaplarını seviyorlarsa, grafik romanları okumayı deneyin. Grafik romanlarda her zaman bir gizem vardır. Çok, çok iyi hikayeler !! :) Çizgi romanda aynı kurgu kitaplarıyla aynı karakterler var. Öyleyse, Geronimo Stilton'ın kurgusunu okuyorsanız, kafa karıştırıcı olmayacak, grafik roman değil. Umarım beğenmişsindir! Çünkü hoşuma gitti ve sen de öyle yapmalısın! Puanım: 5 üzerinden 5 yıldız !!

Bunu umursadığım bazı çocuklarla tekrar okuyorum ve annemle tekrar okuyan hatıralar benim için şaşırtıcı. Çok uzun zaman önce yazdığı gerçekler hâlâ geçerlidir ve iyi ifade edilmiştir. Başka bir nesil okuyucunun bu diziye aşık olduğunu görmek eğlenceli.

This was very thought provoking.

"What is the What" is not a true story, although it is written in an autobiographical format; it is narrated entirely in the first person. Dave Eggers thoroughly interviewed at least one Lost Boy, but the exact life story that he recounts never occurred. The book was fascinating for its insight to Sudan in the 1980s and the deep-rooted origins of conflict in the region. Without demonizing the Arabs, they are identified as the source of violence throughout the book. For religious, cultural and political reasons, the native Dinka population is summarily executed, driven from its land and robbed of its goods, to end up broken and penniless in Kenya. The book is, however, told from the eyes of a child who lived through the horror and dulled to the evil all around him. Because of his calm, objective recounting of 10 years of wandering, as a reader, I was rarely emotionally stimulated and not a single passage upset me or moved me to tears. I would recommend it as a fascinating insight to Sudan's recent history and the strife in which thousands of "Lost Boys" lived for a large part of their lives. As for character development and feeling emotionally invested, this is not my top choice.

It's a great book, i loved it. This book is written in Matthew's point of view and it's written as a letter to Emma-Matthew's youngest sister. They have an abusive mother and sometimes Matthew would have to handle the beatings himself in order to protect his sisters. At the end, the children finally got rescued from their abusive mother.
