I loved this book. To be honest, I wasn't expecting to enjoy it that much, but I was pleasantly surprised! Chae is a merc in a futuristic world of humanoids. She is a "mongrel" andof the lowest cast. She will take on any job, as long as it pays. Her latest job turns out to be more than she expected though. Chae must smuggle Daned onto a heavily guarded planet so he can be the first Ladaian male to sit on the throne. In order to keep cover Daned will pose as a sex slave that Chae has purchased. The easy job turns out to be not so easy, and in the midst of all the danger to life and limb Chae also finds herself battling a real attraction to Daned.

Loved this series

A fun, light, airy read. I loved Tori's first book (as well as 90210 and So NoTORIous), so it was a given that I'd read this one. Reading this book showed me that she's really doing her best to be an amazing mother to her two children, and she's so genuine about it. This may not be the world's greatest piece of literature, but it was fun, funny, and I'm glad I read it! Bring on the next book, Tori!
