That was a great read without werewolves or vampires in it, yet with a touch of paranormal and a fascinating twisting of the plot that only let you wonder what will happen next, and no matter how much you tried you'd be all along surprised as nothing turns out the way you'd expected. And the fairies here are totally not what you imagine them to be.

This is a wonderful and heart-wrenching story a family who is coping with the illness of one child and the toll that it has taken on their other two children, as well as themselves. This book is absolutely on my top ten list of all time, and Jodi Picoult is one of my favorite authors.
