I'm pretty sure I read this for the first time in a high school English class, then I promptly wrote some lame poem about floating into the ocean. However, it is an interesting story and I've since enjoyed reading more of her work.

Out of the three books in the series, this one by far is the least interesting book to read. Mocking Jay is about Katniss leading a revolution, and a war against the Capitol. She is taken out of the second games and is flown away to the seceret underground district thirteen, and in there she is trained for combat and taught how to be the mocking jay. My favorite part was defiently at the end becuase it was a huge twist and i did not expect it at all. However this book did not macth up to the other two at all.

It's an awesome book! Even though it's a thick I still enjoyed it.

SNAG! book To Tame a Highland Warrior is not one of Moning's best endeavors. It was very reminiscent of the typical trashy romance novel. The romantic overtures, at times, were so ridiculously sweet I felt like Molasses was dripping from the pages. The novel lacked that typical Moning quality that I find so enticing. However, if you are a big fan of Moning, it is worth the time and money. Good Reading! Sarah :)

What an inspiring story. It was amazing to see how the kids banded together refused to be "victims." Despite her negligent parents, she and her siblings managed to take care of each other and make something of themselves - and not slip into the same self-destructive cycles her parents were involved in. Great book.

I loved this book - it was beautifully writeen, but haunting. Made me cringe at times and kept me up at night.
