The tail of two boxer, one washed up, the other just beginning in Stockton, Calif. An amazing, tragic story about two lives that are so similar, yet barely touch. Worth reading again, the language is violent and I wanted to give the main characters a quarter.

I couldn't put it down! I thought it was great!! My mother, on the other hand, just knew I was going to Hell for even reading it. Haha. It's great if you're either A) not Catholic or B) not easily offended!
