I just reread the book since I was lending the book to a friend I felt I should refresh my memory as I couldn't remember it well. It is written in a very simple style, has a folk tale quality to it. Its definetely not a novel but a book thats talks about philosophy of Life - mixes up various schools of thought. What I liked about it was that there is a lot to mull over in the book.
