This book was really good and I loved reading it. The only problem was the ending. It was pretty tragic. The whole story is about this girl named Willow who has this disease where her bones break easily. When Willow's family is in Disney World and she breaks a bone, and the insurance won't pay for it, Sean (the dad) gets upset and wants to sue. The family discovers that during the months before Willow was born, in her mother's (Charlotte) womb, Piper (Charlotte's best friend), diagnosed Willow wrong. So they end up sueing Piper and the story is about the sueing, the trial, events beforehand, and Amelia (Willow's sister). But when everything is falling apart, it suddenly heals, and Charlotte wins the trial. In the end, Willow, thinking everything that happened was her fault, drowns herself in a pond. What kind of ending is that?

Cowboys Old Red and Big Red are summoned to the World's Fair in Chicago to compete in a competition to discover who is the best detective in the world now that Sherlock Holmes has vanished. But the stakes are raised when someone involved in the competition turns up dead the second morning. Can Old Red figure out why the murder took place? I always enjoy spending time around these brothers in the 1890's, and this book was no exception. The story is strong as are the characters. Another fun read.
