Bu kitaptan asla el sanatları yapmam, ama saçmalıklara bakmak ve bakmak eğlenceliydi, yani el sanatları.

I didn't read the whole book - just the interesting parts. It was helpful in pointing out how to encourage curiosity and other positive traits of smart boys and in giving advice on how to help with the challenges.

My sister told me to stick with this book, that the ending was really wonderful. And she was right. It took me about 3 chapters--and about 6 months--to get fully hooked. After that, I was fascinated. I've always had a slight crush on Steve McQueen, due mainly to his role with Yul Brynner in "The Magnificient Seven" and the "Steve McQueen wore khakis" GAP campaign (Google it.) C'mon, he's the King of Cool. Now I actually admire him and feel empathy for him. I am going to start Netflixing his movies, too. Lots of them that I haven't seen yet. This book is pretty unsparing and doesn't try to saint Steve McQueen, but it also presents the entire arc of his life and shows why he was who he was. Hence, the empathy that I felt. Thoughtful biographies of famous people are scintillating because they strip away the myths and filters and show us who our icons really are. Sometimes, that means you'll be disappointed, but sometimes it means that you can see the humanity and feel more connected to the people that we idolize and admire. For example, I admire Paul Newman a bit less because of this book! Who woulda thunk?
