Bu beklediğimden biraz daha maudlin oldu. Kahramanın kötü kararlar verdiğini açıkça gösteriyor, ama sanırım bazılarıyla ilişki kuramadım. Sonun iyimserliğini beğendim.
I love all of Philip Yancey's writing. This book is exhaustive in its exploration of prayer. A feature that I particularly enjoyed was his inclusion of various random people's own thoughts on the topic of prayer . . . he highlights their insights (anyone from Joe Schmo to theologians) in grey boxes throughout the book. As with all of Yancey's material, he's not afraid to ask the hard questions and to seek tough answers, or to admit that there are no definitive answers. Prayer remains a mystery but this book sheds some light on the practicalities of the discipline.
A fun enjoyable read. My newly discovered author from the festival of books last year.
