While most of book club liked this book I found the quirky characters somewhat lost and the story disjointed. It could be the story was not appealing to me at this time in my life. We all have personal baggage and events and I needed a much more soothing story. That said I cannot be a good judge of this story. I tried to like it and it did not do it for me.
