I learned a lot about my faith in this book even though its characters have funny names such as "Much Afraid"
To read this novel again, as an adult, in the twenty-first century, with a television as big as a wall in my house, and with Instagram replacing even Twitter as our preferred method of passing on information, I have new insight into Bradbury's perspective and a new appreciation for the sort of cynicism and hope that created his imagined future. I also now realize that Wall-e was just Pixar's beautiful rendering of Bradbury's vision.
Definitely a book that grows on you.
I thought it was actually pretty good. I've always been drawn to Egyptian mythology though. It definitely falls short of the Percy Jackson books. But still fun.
