I liked its sense of rebelion

Lengthy but gripping Dickensian tale. Lots of plot twists and turns. main characters are lesbians which isn't obvious at the start. Suspenseful with baby smugglers, pornographers, spiteful servants, women's asylum, etc. Victorian England as never before imagined. i'm ready to read some shorter books.

I don't care if this is horrible, I'm going to read it anyway.
