Another book for my senior paper. This one I enjoyed as it was more technical than the last one I read which focused on folklore. Kooistra looked at psychology, sociology, history, and culture in order to come up with his thesis on why criminals are cast as heroes by history and society. I agreed with his thesis and will work it into my paper when I start planning it. He made a number of good points about the role of the hero and the criminal.

Ack. Mindless. I kept reading, waiting for something to happen. It does. But only at the end. Good book for busy moms and for the beach!

Saw this movie... wanted to read this book

I had to read this way back when in British Lit in college. I must admit i didn't really get much out of it.
