Very well written and concise. A quick read, only 80 some pages. Same Harris gouges into religious thought quickly and surgically cuts away at many common religious arguments.
I've read a handful of Koontz and this is one of his best. The writing is certainly unique - a first person narrative with dialogue far too witty at times to be believable, though that's part of the charm. In fact, it serve Koontz well in this case; helping him avoid the pitfall of extending the drama far past the breaking point (which I've encountered in a couple of his novels). Looking forward to the sequels.
Pierre Menard, Tlön Uqbar, Al-Mu'tasim. What more need be said? Borges is a giant.
