Left of Center was an intriguingly different romance story. Dr. Brandon Faulkner; cyber name, Shade, is a 27 year old, hot, veterinarian who finds more pleasure in an array of one night stands and quickie hook-ups than even the mere thought of a stable monogamous relationship. No one gets under his skin, no one matters, and it's all a game, a trick, another notch in his bedpost. Lewis Blake, cyber name, Enigma, is 23 years old, gorgeous and odd. Very odd. He's not at all what Brandon is expecting, in fact, he's more. He's the one man in Brandon's life thus far that he simply cannot get out of his head. Everything about Lewis is a little off, a little “left of center” and that's just exactly what Brandon needs. I loved this novella. I laughed hysterically at Lewis's antics, was saddened at his misfortune and grinned giddily at the sweet, somewhat theatrical happy ending.
