The end section with the Scrabble pieces and the Tarot cards....craziness!
So far, I'm really enjoying this one. He makes connections between the traveling experience and writers and visual artists, including the psychology of many of Edward Hopper's work...the psychology of those images in a travel context--of waiting, of loneliness, of observation, of night and of light. So much of this has been in my visual work, it is good to see another's similar perspective.
Great, quick read. Each chapter is another person's story so it is a great one to keep in the car and read in snippets.
