This is a very powerful book. Even if you don't normally read teen books, you should pick this one up. It is the story of a girl, a book thief, in Nazi Germany and the people around her. I highly recommend it.

I think that in the reading, my favorite book was the second. This story is an epic journey worth every step... though you might skip the extensive (boring) background information on hobbits, found at the beginning.
