Jack Reacher helps a lady with a crutch as she comes out of a dry cleaner, and ends up in the middle of a kidnapping plot. Lady is an FBI agent and daughter of a high ranking military man. They are kidnapped by a bunch of militia whack-jobs and hauled to their "country" in Montana. Mayhem and butt-kicking ensue. Not my favorite Reacher book, just OK. He seemed to be not on top of his game - had to be rescued a couple of times.

Call me crazy, but I really didn't enjoy this book!

Really a good explanation of the time of Henry II, and his famous and infamous sons. If you've seen "The Lion in Winter" or "Becket" with Peter O'Toole, this is the real history behind it.

I read this in an effort to read what the general public reads. Piccoult's newest novel has typos and sloppy writing, but the sensational story of a high school shooting makes for a page turner.
