I don't really read a lot of new books. So it is unusual for me to read one and more so for me to like it. Half way through I would have given this a 4 star review, but the author pulls everything together so nicely in the end that I just had to upgrade to a full five. A mix of Dickens, The Secret Garden, Miss Marple, and Rebecca, I found this book a lot of fun to read. I might have over-enjoyed the book because the driving theme behind the plot involves untangling a family history, which others might not find as cool as me, a genealogy geek, so be warned.

this is a great book.It show an a 12 year old girl life. What she has to got through now that, she going to stages. she realize, she didn't go through situations as the ones she went through. She didn't realize there was more then just going to the store and buying clothes.
