i found out alot by reading this clever book. if you ever need to know any fact on sharks, this is the book to pick. i say two thumbs up to Peter Benchley.

A. Lee Martinez creates a multi-layered tale of illusion and reality, self-discovery and self-denial. As always, he infuses his story with humorous details. A nameless witch heads off on a quest of vengeance with a motley crew: a bloodthirsty and snarky demon duck, an animated and very girly broom, a quietly wise and good-humored troll, and a virtuous and steadfast White Knight. Though not my favorite Martinez book so far, the book is filled with unexpected trials that question reality and the heroine is remarkable in her determination to remain a "good" witch. The humor here is sarcastic, sly and subtle and serves to make the witch's goals more poignant. Amidst it all, there's even a dollop of romance which nicely rounds out the tale. An enjoyable read.
