Loved this book as a teen

this is one of my favorite series in the urban fantasy genre. about a wizard who acts as a private investigator. i think the author has around 20 books planned, and there was a show loosely based on them that ran for one season on SciFi. anyways these books are a great mix of mystery and urban fantasy - highly recommended.
