Alice Hoffman, whose book "The Foretelling" is also one of my favorites brings us right in to the time of the Spanish Inquisition, but in such an enchanting way that to NON history buffs (like myself)...you don't even realize you are learning about a time in history until you close the book! A very quick read as well.

Thrill ride. Got scared in several places. And no family, this is NOT the type of lawyer I plan to be!
