Good read - the seemingly separate stories of 3 people come together in this story about love, nature, and strength of soul. A little predictable but there are enough unexpected parts to the stories to keep the interest up. I tend to rate books according to how they help me pass the time while I'm working out on the eliptical or treadmill. This one made the minutes go by. I didn't want it to end. Just as the characters are about to come together, the story ended. What next is what I wonder. Suppose she'd let me write the sequel? I've read most of Barbara Kingsolver's novels, and her book of short essays. I love her writing.
