I've read these books via the audio series and that's probably how I managed through this one. I really have enjoyed the story lines and the characters, but I found myself confused by who was who in this novel and what was always going on. I actually had to go back and effectively "reread" several tracks b/c my mind had either wandered too far to come back or I was just confused. Not that I would skip the book- the historical information was interesting, but I don't really read these for historical benefit... I'm anxious to see how the next one follows...

Kinda cool, entertaining enough that I didn't want to put it down and finished it within 24 hours of starting it. Looking forward to finding out what happens in the next book, especially since it ended at a kind of crappy spot with nothing wrapped up.
