i like this book, but the second half was really weird. the first half was primarily a critique of the seeker-sensitive movement; this author deserves quite a bit of the credit for keeping worship an authentic experience designed to create real encounters with God, not seeker-sensitive entertainment for skeptics.

Thoroughly entertaining. Read after the tv programme, and I'm going to be very good and wait for the next series before reading any more. Come on House Targareyns! But winter is coming...(hopefully).The only thing is, fantasy books are a bit po-faced aren't they. While Tyrion's obviously a bit naughty, there aren't many laughs are there. Those boys on The Wall really need to work on their repartee.
