If you haven't read Dr. Seuss's ABC in a few decades, pick it up and leaf through it again, and you'll hear whisperings of ancient memories heavily steeped in nostalgia. This book played a significant role in my learning to read. Anything written in the font New Century Schoolbook stirs up a vague sense of déjà vu, and I'm quite certain that Dr. Seuss's ABC is the ultimate source. My favorite letters: M and Z. Can you imagine a Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz with anything but a checkerboard coat pattern?

My least favorite book. There is something about shallow cartoony characters behaving unrealisticly in every scene to promote a selfish and uncaring philosphy that makes me sick to my stomach. I would rather read about Humanism then Jerkism. The prose is good, the talk about architecture is good. But you can get both in better packages. Where to put this book when you are done with it: next to the toilet
