What the effing crap?? This book was beyond bizarre, but I really dug it. What does that say about me? I loved when Patrick would go off on his tangents about music, which reminded me somewhat of Alex DeLarge in a A Clockwork Orange. I was really impressed with what Ellis managed to pull off with this novel. How twisted can you get?
