A good read but fairly predictable. There were many underlying similarities between the 2 families despite their obvious differences. I identified most with Jenna as I think it would be hard to accept such a gift knowing the sacrifice involved.

Very good, so far. Not too dry for a history book. Interesting Yale tie-in... The've got their grubby digits in everything.

I actually have a different version of this book, but close enough. Classic NC, and you could almost imagine this as the output of a weekend of partying with Hubert Selby and Faulkner.
