Incredibly dense reading, but the groundbreaking work on western perceptions of the near east and how it has shaped our interactions with "the other" as well as how the west defines itself. Written decades ago, but still as relevent as ever.

Bizaro - is all I can say. Not waht I expected having read the other SBC Fighter Books by her. The idea was cool but not what I expected at all for this series. There is this sci-fi or futuristic thing going on and it seems a little shallow.
