This is apparently a part of a series of romance/paranormal/mystery novels centered around the Arcane Society. In this one, murder and mahem surround a photographer, Venetia, and her "husband" Gabriel of the Arcane Society. On a par with Ms. Quick's previous novels: excellent read.

Not quite as fun as it is interesting. A bit long winded. Very eloquent.
