Another Victorian Lit assignment this semester. This book sucks monkey butt. It was 781 pages of me wishing I wasn't so afraid of my own blood. So that I could stab my eyes out. Just so that I could have my teacher excuse me from reading this horror of a book. So many words! And so little plot! And it gets even worse: Daniel Deronda is not available in Sparknotes. I'm pretty sure that God hates me and that George Eliot is his sword of retribution.

Even though this is an Oprah book, and Oprah is my arch foe, I found myself getting drawn into this book to see what happened.
