So I wanted a book that would be escapist... that it was. Unfortunately I have to agree with some of the other reviews I've written-- the main character can really grate at times. I'd like less of her inner dialogue and more action-- which at times was pretty good. I'll try the next one, but it's not as fun to read as the Charlaine Harris series... takes itself a little too seriously.

Excellent series. Children coping on their own.
