A look into issues regarding changing times/culture and poligamy from an entirely female perspective. Semi-autobiographical. Very personal with that almost makes you feel like a voyeur. A wonderful representation of strong women in Africa.

I was suspicious as I started this book, but I soon found it funny, charming, and very sweet. The ending ("crazy-person-suddenly-not-so-crazy-after-all, gets-the-perfect-life-suddenly") left a teensy bit to be desired, but really this was a book with a lot of humor and a very tender heart.
