This was a fascinating look into the mind of an autistic savant, who does a great job of describing what it's like inside his brain. (He memorized pi to more than 22,500 decimal places and learned the Icelandic language in less than a week!) Since so many savants are not able to analyze and share what goes on inside "their world," this book is a rare treat and gives a reminder of just how miraculous the human brain really is.
