Its been years since Ive read this book, and I am still unable to tell if this is an accurate portrayal of "lower class" people of the time, or just a scathing tale told by high-class people ABOUT lower class people. Moll has no real redeeming qualities. I dont know if it is told from a stance of pity or of scorn.
