Book 2 in the Royal House of Shadow's series. Of the four author's writing in this quadrilogy, Jill is the only one who I'm not familiar with so I had no idea what to expect. Given the company she's in I was intrigued and hopeful that I may have found another author for my ever growing pile! Each of the books is loosely based on an existing fairytale and in this installment Goldilocks and the Three Bears gets a PNR make over. I really liked this one, I'm intrigued by Berserkers and in my opinion we could do with a lot more of them! Jill's tale follows Breena's journey after the attack at the castle. Like Nicolai she was sent to safety and filled with a need for vengeance. I enjoyed her interactions with Osborn in the early days and how they both where at war with their instincts. As in Lord of the Vampire (Book 1) most of the action came at the end and I'm really looking forward to reading the next two books. Lord of Rage flowed a little better for me, so I'm awarding it 4 stars. ARC provided by Netgalley
