I really liked this book. I really didn't know what to expect when I first picked it up but I am quite glad that I read it. This is the second Penelope Lively book that I've read (the first was "The Photograph"), and I liked this one significantly more. I thought Mark's journey in learning about Strong (and in turn, himself) was quite enjoyable.
