I read this book as part of two aborted nursing prerequisites at a university I promptly dropped out of three weeks before I finished the classes. Before you get the "watch out we got a bad ass over here" face on, I stopped taking these classes because I didn't need them for the nursing program I had gotten into at another school, which was quite a step up from the school I had been attending while reading this book. I was taking these classes (and therefore reading this book) because they were standing in between me and being a nurse. Having taken 10 credits of organic chemistry and 8 credits of general chemistry in my past, taking these two 3 credit courses (no labs!) would have been a joke for me if it wasn't for the fact that this book was so goddamn boring. The "joke" of these classes became a pain in my ass. I've seen (and read!) worse textbooks. But because of how much time and money was wasted surrounding this book and the classes I had to take which are associated with it, I'm giving it the lowest rating I can.
