I started this book hoping to find a solution for the "life after Weight Watchers" maintenance phase of dieting. I was looking for help maintaining the weight loss in a way that would not cost me every month (like paying Weight Watchers does) but alas, this was not that. Like WW, it gives you a formula that you can use whenever you are eating so that you can follow the plan. Unlike WW, it limits you to eating only certain foods. "I don't even miss pizza!"~Yeah, right. This plan is not for me.

Suburban Nation has had, without a doubt, a most profound affect on my life and my outlook. A powerful, important book, especially as it relates to the future of our cities and the growth and development of living spaces. Highly recommended.
