I read this book as part of my Islamic Studies class in 2008. It gives a biography, as well as philosophival insight on th elife of thr prophet.

A bit of a slow burn, but the last fourth is excellent.

I gave this book 4 stars, just because it lends itself to discussion. I'm forcing it on my son and husband so that I can talk about it! Don't get me wrong. It's an engaging story and an easy read, but why it merits 4 stars vs. 3 is because of what is leaves out.
