I have no words for the amazingness that is this book!!! This has to be the best book in the series so far. Devil May Cry is the story of Katra, one of Artemis's handmaidens and Sin, an ex-God turned Dark-Hunter. Around eleven thousand years ago Artemis stole Sin's Godhood and now he wants revenge. Artemis can sense that Sin is coming for her and when she cannot convince Acheron to kill him, she sends Katra. While Sin REALLY wants to kill Artemis he has other problems that he needs to deal with first. The lethal gallu that were buried by his pantheon are now stirring and they are hungry for human flesh. Their goal is to destroy mankind and anyone else who gets in their way. Sin is the only one who can stop them but without his God powers it's not going to be easy. When Katra is attacked by a gallu Sin comes to her rescue but when he sees her face he captures her thinking she is Artemis and every secret you could imagine emerges. Karta is the most amazing character, she has awesome powers and she keeps most of them a secret. I don't even think Artemis knows how much power she really has. She is super sarcastic and turns every situation into a joke. (view spoiler) I loved Sin, he is sexy and strong. I feel for him having been betrayed by everyone he knew, but that does seem to be the criteria for being a DH. While Sin was amazing and made this book every bit as titillating as the other DH books, I still think that Katra is the character I loved the most. Oh and Sin's friend Kish made me laugh. You find out a lot about Ash in this book and his relationship with Artemis. I hate to say it but even though this book makes you really hate Artemis for what she did, at the same time you do kind feel a little for her. I really can't wait to get to Ash's book and find out his full story. Oh the secrets that emerge in this book...
