OK. These books are really growing on me. Can't wait to get my hands on the last one.

This is a good plot, but the book could have improved about 30% with a decrease of 80% of the simile/hyperbole/metaphor/allegory. It clogged the story, there was so much of it. I'm not saying it wasn't good, most of it was good, some of it was great. But it was like weeds choking a flower garden, TOO MUCH. It did not add to the story, and it detracted from the believability of the protagonist. I think with more editing, the story would have skewed less to Young Adult. However, I am always in favor of less romanticism in these stories, so that may prejudice my reading. There was a whole lot of book and not enough furthering of the plot. But it was entertaining.
