First cookbook to ever make me crack up. Out loud. In public.

Very compelling high drama. Great space opera, but without all the campy genre trappings, like anthropomorphic aliens or mystical magic powers. Also, an excellent no nonsense writing style, and powerful themes. In this sense HH2 is similar to the first book, but even more gripping. Based on the first two books, HH is quite comfortably the best sci-fi I've read so far.
