hatırlayabildiğim en acı verici, mazoşist okuma deneyimini uygular. bir süre için cazibesinin bir parçası, ama sonra kitabı açmaya korkmaya başladım.

Bütün bunları okumadım, bazı ilginç fikirler

Not loving this. Dull repartee, larded with cliche, a smattering of gadget porn and, well, loads and loads of corn. Maybe it was written with a television series in mind.

Este é o segundo romance de Ana Macedo. É um livro mais maduro, onde se nota uma nítida progressão literária. É uma história intensa e intrigante. Recomendo vivamente a leitura deste livro.

I really enjoyed Michael Lewis's storytelling - he kept what could have been a dry topic highly engaging. He also struck the right balance between simplifying financial concepts to keep the story moving along and not dumbing things down too much, even for those who are familiar with the financial markets.

Amy Tan's "The Joy Luck Club" is a decent book about a group of four Chinese women who created the club and eventually passed it down to their daughters. The club was designed to be an interval of time for the women to escape from their lives and their problems and to enjoy the company of each other while playing games and having a good time. The book doesn't focus so much on the club or it's meanings but more on the deep relationships between the mothers and their daughters. It shows this in the form of stories told from almost all of the women's perspective in about 16 chapters where each chapter is told by one of them. The story has a lot of philosophies and Chinese culture. There is also a lot of advice given to the daughters and most of the stories end with that advice coming from experience. I thought the book was decent. It was definitely not my type of book because I like action and warfare books a lot more. Also, it was hard to relate to this book because it was mostly about the mothers and their daughters. Obviously, this book is more relatable to women, especially moms and daughters. Since this book really isn't my type, I couldn't really say if it's bad or not, just that if you don't like mom-daughter type books, you won't like this one. The advice can be helpful for anyone and the philosophies are interesting. Some of the stories were very good but some weren't anything special. Over all, I give it a 3/5.
