Incredibly great... I like the way the author explains the nostalgia the main characters experienced in the World War -- short and concise... It was about a girl who her friend was a Jew. She had to hide her with her family and later, take a risk to save the escaping people. It's really amazing how the little girl thinks fast and how she takes all the risks and solves it properly. The story ends in a ambiguous situation making the reader ask what would happen next. I always think that the author Lois Lowry makes the people think about her story after reading... overall, I enjoyed it

I have read 4 pages of this book and I don't want to read any more. How come no one told Pessl that every sentence does not require an analogy or allusion? It makes the writing so tedious and hard to follow. Honestly, I've never given up on a book after 4 pages, but there's a first time for everything...

A fine novel by a gifted author. It tells the story of a young man who joins Alfred Kinsey in his sex research program. Often having to cringe while reading but just as often fascinated with Boyle's depiction of the teams attempt to stay as focused and dispassionate about their research as required by good science. A very good and entertaining read.

I loved this book. I loved the language, I loved the style, I loved that once it got into your head you almost started to think in nadsat, and I loved the phsychological and moral implications of Alex's treatment. I also think Stanley Kubrick did it justice in the film.
