This book indeed covers American women from 1960 through 2008. In doing so, it never delves too deep into any one topic, so it all felt familiar. I guess I have kept up on current affairs since the mid-60's as I lived it (yes, I was born in 1955 but did not read newspapers then). I can't say I gained any new insights.
